Escape Room was first released in January 2019, and lead to an influx of people coming to play real life escape rooms anxiously asking the host: ‘I’m not really locked in here right?‘ Don’t worry, when you book an experience at The Escape Effect, you won’t be entering an elaborate death trap…but you also won’t have the chance to win $10,000, which the unlucky individuals are playing for in this movie. This January, why not revisit this a-maze-ing video game that was first released back at the start of 2016. Gather your friends and family round, and take on this seemingly simple puzzler that gradually ups the challenge, and simultaneously uncovers secrets that you didn’t comprehend on your initial play through. Gaming Get-Together Of The Month: MIT Mystery Hunt

The MIT Mystery Hunt is your yearly dose of brain-bursting fun brought to you by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I say brain-bursting because you’ll spend hours upon hours in the zone, absorbing the absurd and meticulously analyzing, in an attempt to solve a series of puzzles. It’s complex, after all it’s a competition, but beginners will want to sit out this intellectually intense and positively perplexing puzzle hunt.
