Game Host
Part hospitality, part game master, a Game Host does it all for our guests. This escape room job is all about communication. We are searching for customer-focused individuals who can ensure that each and every person who steps foot into The Escape Effect loves every moment. Assistant Store Manager
Traditionally, the Store Manager needs to be a leader for Game Hosts. In reality, you’ll also need to be an awesome problem-solver as your responsibility will be everything AND everyone inside and around the store. We’re looking for leaders with good customer service and management skills.
Must have a degree in hospitality management for this escape room job.
Fabricator/Maker
If you play an escape room and analyze how the set and puzzles were built, then this position could be a great fit for you!
As a Maker, your role is to build anew and ensure existing props and mechanisms for all of our escape rooms are in great working order for each and every single guest. Your craftsman skill is only eclipsed by your love of building.
You must be able to share a portfolio of work in a creative field, including practical related skills like woodworking and electronics.
Technical Apprentice
As a small business, our team members wear a lot of hats. As a Technical Apprentice, you’ll do the same. This escape room job will provide an opportunity for you to expand your engineering skill set largely in software and electronics. This position is a great fit if you’ve ever wanted to program MCs or video games and need to break into the industry.
Must be able to share a portfolio of work in the electronics or software fields.
Set Designer
If you largely enjoy escape rooms for the immersion, then this position could be a great fit for you!
As a set designer, your role is to ensure the story is told from the moment players enter the room. You need to keep them immersed in diverse, exciting environments and mesmerized by each new world within its walls.
You must be able to share a portfolio of work in a creative field, including practical art skills like painting and prop making.
Marketing Manager
