Perplexing Puzzler Of The Month: Connections
If you’re a puzzle-lover like us, you’re probably already aware of the selection of speedy brain tinglers, that New York Times publish daily. They have a great collection of games for word nerds, but my all-time favorite has to be Connections, which first debuted in June 2023. You’ll be given a group of 16 words, and it’s your job to group them up into sets of 4. But be careful, there are usually a few sneaky red herrings in there, ready to trip you up.
Gaming Get-Together Of The Month: World Quizzing Championship
Every year, on the first Saturday in June, the International Quizzing Association brings like-minded folks together from all around the globe, with an epic quiz contest. Consisting of 240 questions, the quiz is made up of 8 packs containing a wide range of topics, including entertainment, culture, history, lifestyle, media, science, and sport.
