Rain Or Shine
The Escape Effect is open 365 days a year, yes really! Which means no matter the weather, we are ready to get you started on your puzzle-packed journey! Sometimes the Florida weather can put a stop to your plans, especially when the rain seems like it’s never going to end! Sure, you could don your poncho and brave it in the parks, but why not feel more comfortable and dry in one of our immersive experiences inside!
If you’re not used to a hotter climate, the scorching summer weather can also deplete all of your energy. It’s a good idea to take a break somewhere cooler for a while, away from the harsh sun. Our air-conditioned venue is cool and pleasant, allowing you that necessary recuperation time. After a few hours, you’ll be ready to bounce back and enjoy all the parks have to offer, feeling a little more well-rested!
No Queue Line
Just like peanut butter and jelly go together, theme parks and queues do too! You can’t escape those long lines when you’re at the parks, but you can escape into one of our action-packed adventures instead! If you’re tired of standing in line waiting for your turn, you’ll enjoy walking into our lobby and getting plunged straight into your experience without delay! Just book your time slot, turn up, and that’s it…not a queue in sight!
What’s more, often when you’re standing in line for an attraction, you spend potentially hours waiting, and once you get your opportunity to ride, sometimes it lasts less than a minute! Sure, we enjoy those moments where you finally get your go, but that imbalance in time spent can feel frustrating. Not only is there no queueing at The Escape Effect, but once you start your experience, you’ll have a feature-length chunk of time dedicated to just you and your group, with experiences ranging from 75 minutes, 90 minutes, all the way up to 120 minutes long!

If you’re feeling like a brave and courageous knight, we have an epic quest ready for you to embark on. If you prefer a darker story, get tangled into the twists of our murder mystery, or join a team of ghost-hunters in spooky surroundings. If you know your Aphrodite from your Athena, take on the challenges presented by Greek mythology’s famous figures…rise victorious and you could even become immortal!*

Private Experience
Theme parks are busy, and during peak times you’ll often find yourself shoulder to shoulder with complete strangers. As with spending any extended time out in the Florida heat, it can get a little sweaty, which when you’re that close to people, can be a a bit unpleasant at best. When you’re feeling like you need to regain some personal space, and be around your friends and family only, a private escape room experience is an excellent choice.
We know that the crowded parks can be especially difficult to navigate in heavy crowds when you require extra assistance, such as those with disabilities, or those who use a wheelchair. You needn’t worry at The Escape Effect, as all our games are 100% ADA accessible. Our rooms are designed with everyone in mind. We can make other adjustments too, such as turning up the lights, or turning down the music, if it will make you more comfortable during your experience. Just ask one of our friendly hosts who are always happy to help!
Active Participation
When you’re at a theme park, you do a lot of watching, but not a lot of doing. When you are immersed into one of our highly-themed sets, it’s not just about looking, it’s about being a part of an adventure! Every single person plays a crucial role in an escape room experience! No matter or age or skill level, you’ll be able to participate and have fun!
Escape rooms are action packed, and from the moment you begin, your heart will be racing and your adrenaline will be pumping. You’ll need to be active, searching the whole space from top to bottom for clues and evidence, piecing together everything you find to solve puzzle after puzzle. As the clock ominously counts down in the corner, you’ll be opening antique chests, deciphering riddles, and searching for ancient artifacts. An escape room challenge will test your skills to the limit, but it’s a lot of fun too, and as a bonus, you’ll be boosting your brainpower and critical thinking abilities without it feeling like work or school!

We all love the theme parks, in fact, everyone on the team here at The Escape Effect is passionate about the attractions industry, and we are all avid theme park goers. When you live in Orlando and have easy access to the parks, it’s easy to stop by for a few hours, sometimes just to take a stroll around and absorb the atmosphere and scenery.
When you’re on vacation, it’s a whole different ball game. Those days or weeks you have set aside for dedicated park time are supposed to be enjoyable, but they can all too easily turn into something you’ll endure, rather than enjoy. This will especially ring true for parents who need to satisfy the constantly changing emotions of kids…if they’re miserable, you’re miserable! Because of the rising costs of theme park tickets, you often want to get your money’s worth, which means you’re going from park open to park close, which unfortunately can be a recipe for disaster!
If you feel like everything is getting a bit much, it’s time to take a break. Leave the park for a few hours, or schedule in time away from the parks for a day or so.
