We are proud to present the latest one of these projects, our brand new role-playing adventure book series – Riddles & Relics. Our first release, Camelot: Dawn Of A New Kingdom, comprises of a puzzle-packed Game Master’s Guide, that contains absolutely everything you need to create and complete a quest of epic proportions through the Middle Ages. If you’ve already played our real-life medieval masterpiece A Knight To Escape, you’ll find similar lore and familiar characters from the escape room within this book, which is also brimming with mythical maps, intricate illustrations and detailed storytelling.
Escape room enthusiasts will also appreciate that Camelot is more than your average role-playing adventure, with over 20 themed puzzles additionally embedded within the story itself. Plus, you’ll find the book is adaptable to 5th edition, for those who already play Dungeons & Dragons.
Step into Stonebury
Just like how our real-life escape room A Knight To Escape is split into two sides, Camelot: Dawn Of A New Kingdom is also divided into two sections. Flip through them, and you’ll be met with enticing emerald green in one half, and vibrant royal blue pages in the other, with both framed by elegant ornate edges.
Initially, you’ll find yourself setting foot into rural Stonebury, and stepping back into a bygone era. Venture through this tranquil town and you’ll meet various intriguing individuals along the way. Wander across the vast countryside, and you may even encounter enchanted forests and treasure-stocked underground tunnels, that until now have been shrouded in secrecy. You’ll collect clues and obtain information, and as the townsfolk tell their tales, you’ll progressively be able to piece together each puzzle, before heading on your way to the castle.
Discover Camelot
So you’ve rambled through rough terrain, and searched your surroundings high and low. Eventually you’ll encounter the commanding Camelot castle. Once you enter its imposing walls, you’ll undertake the second section of the book. Within these vivid blue pages you’ll be exploring every inch of the castle, discovering intrigue around every stone-clad corner.
Detailed maps will help guide you along your way, and you’ll stumble upon everything from mystical artifacts, and magical talking portraits, to secluded secret passageways. You’ll also bump into numerous noble figures around the castle, plus a few charming yet unsavoury characters, where you’ll need to exercise caution and be wary of just who can be trusted. The road ahead may be treacherous, but you will be rewarded for your courage.
