The most puzzles and the absolute best value for escape rooms on International Drive!

Escape rooms might feel like an activity where assembling a large team puts you at an advantage. For instance, in our 90-minute epic At Odds With The Gods, we pack it with puzzles so that if you do bring a bigger group, everyone can disperse across different areas. Each individual can work on their own challenge, before coming together to conquer the common goal and complete the quest.

However, not all games are configured like this, some games are more linear, like our 75-minute step back in time, Sherlock Studies. You’ll need to work through methodically, taking on each task sequentially, and gathering evidence as you do so. By following the path you’ll ultimately uncover the details of the crime that occurred, and deduce whodunnit. Oh, and escape of course!

A game of this linear format makes an ideal escape room for 2 people, because you can both focus on small goals and work together seamlessly. However, that doesn’t mean to say you won’t enjoy playing either style of game, regardless of team size! There is absolutely nothing stopping you taking on our mythological mystery as a duo! Apart from maybe the threat of Zeus hurling lightning bolts your way.

A couple works together to take on Apollo and Artemis' challenge.

Uncovering Clues

Having a 2 person team also means you can keep track easier of what has been done already in your game, allowing for effective clue hunting. With a big team it can be hard to keep tabs on who has seen what, and if crucial information has been passed on. It’s so much easier to miss a clue when you think someone else already searched an area and found nothing.

In our dark and Strange (Victor Strange, that is) scavenger hunt Fright Before Your Eyes, there are plenty of spooky secrets to uncover, and an abundance of clues to discover. You’ll need to intensively seek out a series of artifacts, each associated with the soul of a magician’s assistant who met a gruesome fate, at the hands of an evil illusionist. You’ll watch the sinister story unfold in an eerie abandoned theatre, and your success will rely on your searching abilities!

First Date Fun

2 person games also lend themselves to awesome date night opportunities! Whether you’re looking for a first date idea, or if you’ve exhausted the usual date night spots, there’s nothing quite like the fun and frantic atmosphere of an escape room to get the adrenaline pumping. Not only is this an enjoyable and entertaining experience, but escape rooms also involve many relationship strengthening skills, especially communication.

Plunge you and your date into an alternate world with an immersive environment, and wave goodbye to those first date embarrassing silences! There’s no time for awkward small talk when you’re racing against the clock. It may also reveal if your date is someone you really want by your side in stressful situations, as you’ll see first hand how they react to being under pressure!

Once you’ve ended on a high with hearts racing, after successfully making it out, (or making out), it’s the perfect time to wind down and go out to dinner. Your escape room experience will give you lots to discuss, so you wont find yourself stuck for conversation. You’ll be feeling accomplished and buzzing with positivity, so much so, that your date is bound to want more feel-good fun with you on a second date!

Two players smile as they hold out a newspaper with information that will aid in solving the case.
