National Rollercoaster Day

If you’re an enthusiast, you’ve probably kept track of this date! On 16th August it’s National Rollercoaster Day, and there’s no better way to celebrate, than strapped in the seat of one of the incredible rollercoasters located in the area! Whether you are looking for a family friendly ride, or something a little more thrilling, you’re spoiled for choice in theme park-filled Orlando.

Cat Day 1M, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 

You’ll be feline good when you take part in the seventh annual race in honor of cats, brought to you by Alley Cat Allies! 15% of all registration fees from the race will be donated to this claw-some organisation, who champion for a better world for our furry friends! As International Cat Day is this month, it’s the purr-fect time to make a paw-sitive impact! There are 5 different races for every ability, so be sure to book your tickets here right meow!

The Escape Effect

Don’t enjoy being outside in Orlando, at a time of year that can feel like it’s hotter than the surface of the sun? Why not escape to a shady spot. There’s no place cooler than the moonlit medieval castle you’ll find in A Knight To Escape! This split-start, 2-hour epic escape room is the ultimate test of your team’s communication skills! Not only will you free your family and friends from impending doom (a.k.a. the castle dungeon), but you’ll also unlock the key to fun!

Super Awesome Cool Pottery Camp

From August 5th, until the 9th, kids can get creative in a series of wonderful workshops presented by the beautiful, botanical Leu Gardens! The activities are sure to inspire young budding artists, including spinning a bowl on the potter’s wheel, sculpting with clay, and painting on canvas! All supplies are included, and kids will love learning an abundance of new skills within this glorious garden setting.

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

Commence on a culinary quest around the continents, from August 29th, at the ever incredible Epcot. You’ll be spoiled for choice with the huge array of eateries available, and there’s an opportunity to pick up some awesome exclusive event merchandise. Once you’ve treated yourself to something tasty, take a moment to enjoy the epic lineup one of the daily Eat To The Beat concerts.

Spooky Season Begins

Yes, it’s that time of year already. Will you choose to lift your spirits at the family-friendly Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, starting on August 9th, or get a gourd scare at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, from August 30th. Alternatively, for an event that has tricks and treats, you’ll want to grab your ghoul-friends and get to SeaWorld’s Spooktacular from August 31st! Whichever you choose, you’re guaranteed to have a fang-tastic time!
